User Privacy Choices
Last updated: August 9, 2026
This page is the URL where you can learn how to modify, delete, or control data related to TripMeter. Canonical address: https://tripmeter.app/privacy-choices/.
1. We do not collect your trip data on our servers
TripMeter does not require an account and does not upload your trips, day logs, fuel entries, expenses, vehicle records, or preferences to TripMeter servers. That content stays on your device by default.
Because we do not store that app content ourselves, there is no TripMeter cloud login where you edit or delete trip data on our side. You control it on your device (and, if you use Android Google Drive backup, in your own Drive folder).
Full details: Privacy Policy and Account & data deletion.
2. How to modify or delete your data
- Edit in the app — change or delete trips, vehicles, expenses, categories, and settings inside TripMeter on your device.
- Delete local data — uninstall / delete the app (or clear app storage) to remove local TripMeter data from that device. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription by itself.
- Android Google Drive backup — delete the TripMeter folder in Drive, sign out in the app, and optionally revoke access in Google Account permissions. See Account & data deletion.
- Exported backups —
.tripmeterfiles you exported are under your control; delete copies you shared or saved elsewhere. - Support messages — if you emailed us or used Featurebase, that is information you chose to send. Ask us to delete correspondence we control at technologiesinfomania@gmail.com.
3. How data is used and shared
Your trip and vehicle content is not shared by TripMeter with third parties for marketing of your personal travel history. Limited third-party services may process other technical or purchase-related data only when a feature needs them:
- Purchases — Apple / Google (and RevenueCat for entitlements). Manage or cancel in App Store / Google Play settings.
- Ads — Google Mobile Ads where used; manage tracking / ad preferences in device settings. Google advertising technologies.
- Remote Config — Firebase may supply configuration keys (for example ad units). We do not use Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics in the iOS app. Firebase Privacy and Security.
- Permissions — revoke photo, notification, or tracking-related access in system settings anytime.
4. Device permissions
You can revoke photo library, notification, tracking-related, or other permissions at any time in your device system settings. Core trip logging does not require location or HealthKit.
5. GDPR rights
If GDPR applies to you, you may have rights such as access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawing consent. Because most app content never leaves your device, many actions are done in the app or by uninstalling. For anything we control (for example support email), use the contact below.
6. Contact
